Do you think that the Xbox One will eventually be sold without the Kinect Sensor, therefore making it cheaper? Because Microsoft changed their mind about always having the Kinect being plugged in for the Xbox to function.

Personally, I'm just going to have my Xbox in my room, connected to a TV that sits on my desk next to my computer.
Honestly, I find a lot of the Entertainment options that's really making the Xbox One sell useless to me, but I'm going to buy it anyway for other reasons... But I digress.

EDIT: After doing further research, I found that Microsoft has no intention of selling the Xbox One "Kinect-less". Check out this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

Seeing as how the Kinect is integral in the way the system works, I doubt it until a couple more E3's when they announce the slim version. Then, maybe.

I don't believe so. I heard that the console somewhat works with the kinect almost mandatorily this time. I don't even think that is a word but I mean to say it has to be linked because there is a lot of use it has using the Xbox. And I have heard different things about it saying it HAS to be used. Not 100%

By The Way! Check this out! Found in the Stick of this forum...

"Q: Why is Kinect required with every Xbox One?
A: The all new Kinect is now an essential and integrated part of the platform. By having it as a consistent part of every Xbox One, game and entertainment creators can build experiences that assume the availability of voice, gesture and natural sensing, leading to unrivaled ease of use, premium experiences and interactivity for you. However, not every function will need to use the Kinect. I mean, what about people who have speaking disabilities? They have no use of the Kinect for speaking.
