My school computers have this and their pretty cool. But what i would suggest is what are you more comfortable using? Do you like using the mac os or windows os? If i were you i would go with windows but its your choice.

I like windows more. And is there any real difference with putting windows on the mac? And what windows will work on a mac? Thanks!

Im not really a pro with macs because ive never really messed with them. But to answer your other question, i think you can because our school computers are 2005 macs (desktop) and they are running windows 7 64bit operating systems. but if you want more info, then try using youtube or google.

It's easy to get Windows running normally on a Mac with Bootcamp. The experience is pretty seamless and you can switch back and forth. If there's something you can't do with OS X and you need Windows or Linux, you can install either alongside OS X.

I have that setup and it works great. Easy to switch between the two OSs just requires a quick restart.

I sometimes use Windows on my macbook. Just make sure you have plenty of harddrive space because Windows will take a good chunk of it. I would suggest no less than 40gb, but it all depends on how much you need. Use bootcamp, I`m pretty sure just about any Windows version will work, but I would still double check to make sure. Bootcamp allows for a dual boot, meaning you can have both the windows os and mac os on one drive. Once windows is installed via bootcamp, Just hold the option key when its booting and it will allow you to switch between the operating systems. As far as performance goes it all depends on your hardware. Personally I have never had any issues.
