So I'm looking to preorder AC4: Gold Edition and I have most of my games on steam but it seems to come out just under a month later on steam compared to origin. So is there any difference in experience, like online play, on origin compared to steam?

Origins is Steam but for games that are released by EA only. Any games that get released on both will usually come out sooner on origins than Steam.

Man I havent seen you on TTG in forever, and yeah origin is for EA games only and is very unreliable for most people, it took my like 5 days to install it when I bought Battlefield 3
