So i just bought turtle beaches and i was so happy to start using them. when i was in a call with my friends they all started b*tching about my mic being all static-y and stuff and i didnt know what they were talking about. So i found out for myself by listening to what my mic was doing. it has this static/background noise whever theyre plugged in. even if i mute the mic, theres still that annoying noise. ive tried a few things and i cant fix it. please halp me

If you have a Plug-n-Play kit you cant use that, I have those and it only does that when I have my controller plugged up

Make sure everything is plugged in correctly. I have a pair as well as astro's and the slightest imperfection can screw things up. It sounds obvious but its a helpful reminder.
