When I first heard about Microsoft releasing the Xbox One I had no intention of buying it. However, now that the release is only a month away I have become much more interested in it. There are a few things that will make or break the deal for me. If some of these things are proven to be true then I will not be buying the Xbox One. Here's what I want to know, I will refer to Xbox One as X1 from here on out:
1. Will the X1 run like the Xbox360. That is will I have to have Kinect running to power it on? Also will I need to be connected to the internet?
2. How much will live cost? Also will live on the X1 be able to connect with users on the Xbox 360?
3. Will I be able to play Xbox 360 games on the X1? There's no good reason that microsoft would make the X1 not backwards compatible. If I can't play my Xbox 360 games on the X1 then this is a huge deal breaker.
4. How much will games cost? Just because the console is new doesnt mean games need to be $70. I had a hard time paying $60 I dont think I can do $70
Theres more things that will make or break it for me, but this is all i could think of. Please give me some answers guys and even let me know what you think of the X1.

1) no internet needed, but Kinect needs to be plugged in, but can be turned off.
2)live is the same price, can't connect to 360 users.
3) no the architecture is different, the is is similar to a pc, do they wont work.
4) games are the same price

1) No internet connection is needed, AND YOU DON'T NEED A KINECT PLUGGED IN FOR THE CONSOLE TO RUN
2) Live is still the same price, and you cannot connect to users playing the Xbox 360
3) No Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One (Maybe atleast not for the first year or so)
4) Games are still the same $$$

Kinect doesn't need to be plugged in actually
