The past couple of years I bought the hardened edition for Call of Duty. After buying it I usually regret it because it is not worth the money.
Where I am from (Canada), at EbGames they have a deal that if you preorder the regular version of the game you get almost everything that is in the hardened edition except Season pass (which you can buy separately) and stupid in game reticles etc. (which were terrible in B02)
So just a heads up, if you are thinking about getting hardened edition, unless you are a collector and love the steelecase and wrist band that comes ith it, its really not worth it.
You can get regular edition + season pass for almost 15$ cheaper..

For MW3, And Black Ops 2 i brought the Hardened Edition..
I Brought it for MW3 Because i had recently sold something and got 80 Of it, So then i saw that the Hardened edition for MW3 Was 80 So i got it..
For Black Ops 2, I Was AMAZED By how Low the price for the hardened edition was, 60..Now that to myself is a very good deal it just seams like a perfect price for a one more up edition from the game it's self.
Now for Ghost's..Literually like 3 Hour's ago, I Went down to my store 'GameOn' And ordered the Ordinary edition for COD:Ghosts because it was 45..With the hardened i'd say if you have the money then get it but be careful were your buying it from,,(This is if you upgrading to next gen) Be careful where your buying from, ask before you order if their doing the 10/$10 Upgrade from current-gen to next-gen because i would NOT Buy two hardened edition's..
I ASKED The guy at my store today, and he said 'We havn't been told about the upgrade yet' .. He know's about it of course but it's up to the managers and the stock providers or whatever!
