iPenny wrote I see your point but GTA has changed for the good in my opinion.
It's no longer the run around and create havoc game (well it sort of still is but not in the way you're thinking).
It's more in detail now with the game wanting you to live a dark story of the criminal underworld which in every game they've been trying to do. Just with the tech Rockstar have now they can produce this in further realism. Online you are meant to build yourself up in a fictional world that resembles itself to the real world in ways. (buying cars, paying insurance e.t.c) so you can see where they come from when you blow up peoples cars and expect you to pay a fee and become a 'bad sport' if you do so.

GTA Online and GTA single player are almost 2 separate games with different goals. If you wanna create havoc and play GTA the 'classic' and fun way then play the traditional story mode.
Online is all about building yourself up by racing, doing missions and hanging with friends but with added realism such as paying for apartments e.t.c.

I can see your point but I have no problem with the 'bad sport' feature in the game.
If GTA doesn't evolve somehow it will get stale like COD.

I See what your saying mate..

All of that luxury enjoyment sounds good n all with insurance and apartments and all the money etc..
But it's a game, it's a game that we are suppost to run around blowing up everything lol that's all GTA Will be and they are not gonna change that, because that's all we will all do as a community fan base on GTA! : )

Point about bans for glitching..
When your doing a glitch its your fault entirely that you EXPLOITED a bug in a game.
It's impossible to make sure that the game is 100% bug free before release and many glitches are discovered accidentally.
Only the first person to discover a glitch can really say it was an accident, the rest tend to follow tutorials on youtube etc meaning your exploiting a game.
In the T&C's that you agree to, I'm pretty sure that somewhere in there it will say that exploiting known bugs is a possible banning offence dependent on the severity of the effect.
I'm not 100% sure on the last point as like most others, i didn't bother to read them but more often than not if you do a glitch and get caught its your own fault.
Don't like it? Don't do it, Simple.

Point about cheaters pool.
I don't like this system either, I see no point in having it there as both players loose money?
It would be fun to not be classed as a bad sport online after blowing up a friends car, although i don't tend to blow up many vehicles due to loosing money.

I think it's because Saints Row is out on the market now and they've sort of stole the 'Go all out and create havoc' ego that GTA created so it's went down a different Route. Rockstar mentioned this during the early development of GTA 5, it's to keep the franchise fresh and the fanbase wandering "what's next?". I'm going off topic a little bit but I think the bad sport system could've been added on purpose to get a little bit of controversy going on about the game, it's what most dev's like to do.

same here, I don't mind the bad sport, BUT, is so freakin annoying that people start chasing you only because you have a nice ride and kill you, once you respawn, your vehicle is up in flames, then you have to pay to get it back from the insurance. So what do you do, get payback and blow his car with him in it.

Bad sport is okay but they shouldn't put you their for DAYS. It would be nice if they had a
first offense- 2 hours in bad sport lobby (just so you know how it feels to be in it)
second offense- 6 hours
third offense- 10.....and so on...

I agree with this in a way. I agree with everything except the whole "yeh we did do glitches to get tonnes of money, But who's fault was it?..Not our's," That's what I see a problem with. It is your fault if you did the glitch, you didn't accidentally re-sell your car 1000+ times for 30M+. That's my input if you like it or not but it's true.

I agree with you even though thats not what this topic is about.. I will admit to doing the LSC Glitch but if we get our accounts taken away because of a bug in their piece of crap game then I will have no respect for Rockstar after that. They should just delete all of the personal belongings and money that the people who did the exploit and be done with it. I earned my level fair and square and most of my cash came from doing jobs so why should I lose my whole character over 10m? Just take the cash away from us or put us in the cheater pool for a week or two and call it a day. There is no need for them to bring XBL into this and starting profile banning people.

Neither me..I Dont see respect in Rockstar at all..they make on of the best solo free roam games EVER..But online on GTA5 Was horrific

The "Bad Sport" is pure brilliance lol not only do they have to pay the insurance but they get a black mark against their name every time these losers blow up the car you have spent time and effort getting. Plus insuring the cars is also a fantastic idea because you can be sure of getting it back.

Now I think that getting put in separate servers is a good idea for the bad sports but I think that you should be able to have the opportunity of playing in a private server with your mates but then again i would rather NOT have my car blown up by some sticky bomb happy moron.

The Free roam is awesome an yes people do chase and hunt you down which makes me laugh because the thrill of getting away from someone whilst your crew member diverts attention is hilarious.

I would like to see the cars get a "Bullet-Proof Glass" option to buy but apart from that the game is excellent and there is a lot of fun to be had.
