Things like this are one of the biggest reasons why I will never touch alcohol. I have been through drunk family member situations. It makes me sick. I don't understand what possesses people to want to be like that. Staying clean just seems like a no-brainer after seeing all of that.

Dude I am completely with you on that, the stuff tastes nasty also, but I mean a little champagne on new years is understandable.

I know right?! I don't drink or do drugs, and I am around family that smoke weed and drink heavily. I don't understand why they do it because of "stress". I don't do any of it and am stressed all the time and I'm perfectly fine.

I used to hate when I would come home and find my mom drinking, she would act crazy and it would just make her waste money we didn't have. She was a crazy alcoholic, she would drink when she was happy, sad, mad, you name it.

She stopped in 2008, permanently, and has been good ever since but it would suck to see her like that again.

Man, im not in that kind of situation.

I feel you pain however, my sister was into drugs and getting wasted beyond belief. She went to a half way home when I was 11. Have not seen her since.

I do not drink to this day because of it.

Im here if you want to talk
