Alternate method is working but you described it inorrectly in the text portion. I had to watch the video to get the correct information. You are not suppose to sell the stolen vechile like you say to do in step 8.

People vote no once they try first time.
If they try one method and it doesn't work, they'll vote no, then they'll try a different method, and it will work. But there vote is already cast on no...
It works. I have vouches and poll votes to prove.

Works for me.

1. Take your car to LSC
2. Go to xbl store, back out
3. Sign out - Sign into random acc
4. Wait until starting cinematics come up
5. Sign into your original account
6. Press start when cinematics come back up
7. Online > Invite only
8. Go to LSC with the car you want to sell, park just outside
9. Run around and find a SUV/Land rover
10. Get it a little damaged, just break someone quickly
11. Take it into LSC ( Don't repair ), go to xbl store and back out
12. Sell the car, as you click confirm go to store and back out
13. Now you'll be in your custom car
14. Drive into LSC, sell, confirm, xbl store, back out
15. Repeat step 14

If you want to upgrade your car or sell a different one, you'll just get the we don't want any cars error and have to wait 40-50minutes.
