IMO this could create a lot of controversy. The economy is already starting to fail.

What are your thoughts, are the government telling the truth?

its not about them shutting down too much.. I strongly believe Obama will use this to make himself seem like a savior nd bring back the economy.. this is all designed to make Obama look like the god of America.. how far he is willing to take obamacare is pretty amazing tho. there must be something benefitial to him from this healthcare.. my guess? the freedom of choice taken away from the americans lil by lil

Yeah when I'm retired. But hopefully we won't have a president like Obama. I hate him and his "plans"

It really shows how messed up our government is, that they have to shut it down. I feel embarrassed as an american.

It affects me tremendously. As my dad is a Captain working in the Federal Government, his pay is delayed until further notice. So I'm going to be on a tight budget for a few weeks.

It's a natural process, and this is not the first time this happened. The house and senate just didnt come too any conclusions and it may continue for a month, the last time we had a goverment SHUTDOWN was in 1996 for 21 days
