I been trying to upgrade my processor lately but i could use some tips. I mainly need it for videos editing and not gaming at all. The only game i play on it is runescape. (im 23 years old, i felt like i had to mention that after i said i play runescape)

I use my pc mainly for sony vegas and after effects and a live streaming program called OBS (open broadcast software) which i use to record and live stream.

I would like to increase my rendering speed or maybe even be able to render a video and also use OBS at the exact same time and not have OBS skip any frames or lag on me while rendering and recording a video.

Right now if i deiced to render a video my computers process percentage would be around 70 to 80% and really not giving any thing else to do while its rendering.

i have in mind this processor from AMD 4.00GHZ would it do what i need ?

also a good recommendation for a motherboard would be nice since the new processor would probably not go with my old motherboard

my budget range is really 350$ max MAX MAX 400. i got the xbox one to buy pretty soon.

My PC specs

also i have triple monitors connected to my pc

If you're looking at the 8350 you'll have to upgrade to an AM3+ socket motherboard. If you're going to stick with AMD I'd recommend the 8320 over the 8350. It's the same CPU just with a lower clock speed, it's also cheaper.

For what you're wanting to do I'd recommend an i7 though. A 4770(k) should do. If you're not planning to overclock go with a locked CPU and a H87/B85 motherboard as it will be cheaper all round.

When upgrading your motherboard you'll need a new OS installation.

I googled that model number and different places say different things, like it being a laptop which i don't think it is and that it has DDR2 memory.

In any case RAM does help with render times so i put a new kit on this partslist and if you wanted 16GB you could simply add another 8GB set.

As Giga said above though, the FX8350 is just a higher clocked FX8320 and they are essentially the same chip.
