That's what I have. The max is 500$(US).
No need for monitor,keyboard,mouse,or operating system.
Is that about the best I'd get for the budget?

Includes a bit of Next-Gen gaming(though I'd have to play at lower graphics on most games)

yes but 6 cores is alot for light editing you might be able to save yourself money by getting a quad core

Change the GA 78LMT S2P to the GA 78LMT USB3

Why?

Because VRM heatsink and more RAM slots for the sake of what, $10?

Other than that I wouldn't really change anything.

It's only about a 10$ difference at normal price going from a 4300 to a 6300, might aswell, BF4 recommends 6-core AMD processors as well.

That's the single-fan blower model from MSI. The one he had is the best deal. The Antec One is great, though.
