i heard that when a game comes out they dont come out on the xbox marketplace until a certain date im not sure

No I dont think so and if it is available a lot of people will download it and overload the server or something.

Usually DLC comes out 2-3 hours after release date but I'm not sure if that applies to full games.

possibly but dont think so it takes likes 3 hours for xbox to get a dlc, game, etc. so I guess when you wake up in the morning it probably be there
