I'm sure most of you have seen the end cutscene by now, featuring Samantha maxis and Eddie (presumable Edward Richthofen). This has raised a lot of questions and I was wondering what all of you think of it. Personally, I think the ending was very lazy and unfulfilling. Why do Samantha and Eddie have American accents but maxis is German still? The story line for this map doesn't even fit anywhere into the pre-existing one. Everything from the first world at war map to buried excluding mob of the dead and five fits into a specific storyline. At der riese we hear what happens to trigger this off, maxis eventually being killed by Richthofen and Samantha being teleported to the mpd. Richthofen then devises a scheme to regain control of the zombies and eventually is defeated or successful depending on what path you chose in black ops 2. However, in origins at the very beginning (this is before all other events supposedly) we see maxis already dead and Richthofen cutting his brain out to put in the drone. Also, Samantha is trapped and maxis wished to be reunited with her. This goes against everything we've learned from how the four original characters met to how maxis and Samantha became what they are. It is an anomaly and doesn't fit into the storyline at all. This is supposed to be the beginning of everything but it simply doesn't follow what we have even told and at the end we discover it is all a game. The question is, is the original storyline still true or was that part of the game? Why is Eddie with Samantha and how are they the same age? And what is this plan Samantha is talking about her dad having at the end of the scene? Is that his plan in the original storyline to build wonder weapons and make Germany victorious? I've read thoughs of other people and some think their game somehow became a reality after origins but that still doesn't explain Samantha and Richthofen and I know we're talking zombies ere but after all of that "magic" just seems to be a weak explanation. Anyway those are my thoughts, please share yours and we may be able to she'd some light on what is really happening here.
