Idk it's going to be very interesting I think they either get 6th seed, maybe 7th seed, I could see them going to the playoffs

No, Josh Smith isn't a perimiter shooter, he will struggle at SF. So you play him at PF but you already have Drummond and Monroe. They have a clogged back court and Brandon Jennings isn't really an assist PG, more of a scoring PG. They're also very weak at SG and SF.

Coming from a fan of the pistons, live in detroit, I see a lot of similarities to 04 on this team. Billups was terrible and "selfish" before Detroit, sound familiar? KCP has a lot of similarities to rip hamilton, 3 point shooting, fast break and defense. The 3 seems to be an issue, but I believe Josh Smith will start at the 3 and bring superior defense and rebounding. Monroe at the 4 is the big man with the post moves a lot like Sheed. Finally Drummond at the 5, hes hard to compare to Ben Wallace because of the difference in size, but both are beasts on defense and the boards. The pistons bench this year is weak and in a few years I think this team will be contenders.

I think absolutely NOT. Just because you assemble a few good players doesn't mean you will do well the perfect example is the lakers. They had what looked to be a dream team but when you get players who are all used to being stars it doesn't always turn out well.. If you can get them together for a few years THEN maybe they will be contenders.

That's what I tried to say. If Mo Cheeks can get them all to work as a team they'll grow into something in a few years. Joe Dumars is one of 6 GM's in the NBA right now with a ring.

Yeah but if anyone thinks they'll be good within the first two years they're sadly mistaken. But if they stick it out they could become a true dynasty team.
