My PC isn't the greatest PC for gaming, and I don't know too much about PC's and such but it runs so slow especially when I try to play Battlefield 3 on it, even on the lowest graphics settings. Its an HP Computer w/ an Intel Core i5 CPU @ 2.70GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64-bit processor, and Windows 8. I just want to know why it's so slow and how I can improve gaming performance on it.

You got it from HP. I doubt they would include a dedicated gpu, so the problem is that you're trying to game on intel hd graphics, which is never a good thing.

Generally a prebuit from HP will not have a GPU worth mentioning. It sounds like your video card (or the lack thereof) is holding you back. I wouldn't suggest upgrading the GPU- upgrading a major component like that in a prebuit usually isn't the best way to go. Can you post the model number of your computer?
