So I was thinking of playing zombies with a friend and I was going to sit my second controller in a glitch while we kill them, would the round still record for our main accounts? Thanks in advance!

As long as you are online, you are in a leaderboard-ranked map, and that the accounts stay in the game without lagging out, yes you will be ranked on the leaderboards; but I wouldn't go too far, 3arc still has an eye on the leaderboards of BO1, as they also just released a hotfix for Moon.
