It's $30 cheaper here than on the official website, so I would recommend there.

I think the diamond gc1000 is a much cheaper HDMI capture card, and the quality is the same for a lot cheaper. The elgato is I think 170$ and the gc1000 is 100$.

be sure to have a lot of memory if you do plan on getting a elgato
I have one and it seems to just eat the memory away.
