So im thinking of buying a jtag but i know nothing about them all i know is that they can do modded lobbies online. I remember seeing something like the xbox slim with a switch on the back for jtag off/on but i might be mistaken.. anyway what would be a good jtag to get for a beginner, And can someone tell me in general what a jtag does? Last and finale question What is a Kv i see it all the time.

That slim you seen would have been a dual nand rgh. Just another type of jtag but i won't go into details to confuse you.
Jtag's are currently online at the moment. This is free if you get the EXBLS files which are not hard to get. i can give you them if you Pm me.
Every console has a KV on it, The KV is the consoles Key to xbox live. some jtags come with unbanned Kv's others don't. if your jtag has a banned KV you just buy one from a KV seller and they will send you a download link to the KV.bin file. You simply flash this to your nand(Easily donem, find a tutorial on Youtube).
i wouldn't splash too much money on a Jasper if it's your first jtag, buy a Xenon or a falcon and get used to it. then you can sell it and buy a Jasper. or even a Slim RGH if you have more knowledge by that time. Just look on the xbox marketplace on this site and get a jtag from a trusted seller. your best bet is to buy from Jtag-galore/Monoxide (UK) or Icy-Tank (US)
