Good computer but for the money probably could have built an equally powerful PC for half the cost ;)

I honestly agree with you, but when you're given the option to spend 600 pounds of your own money to buy a computer (and a monitor, keyboard etc...) or keep your own money and get a iMac for free then you would get the iMac lol

The reason people buy Mac's is because they need to use applications that only work on Mac. That aside they are beautifully made, top quality support and manage to run games on awful sounding hardware.

thats why i enjoy final cut pro and i was impressed at how i can play BF3 on ultra settings and it being smoother than the gameplay on xbox

Honestly i like the iMac, I had one but sold it. Also if you didnt know, The 27 inch iMac is the best All-in-one computer!

I have the same computer lol, and in the same situation as you. (my family are apple fanboys and let me borrow it for free). I really like the display especially for video editing because that is al I use it for now.

And your comparing a $200 xbox to a what $2000 dollar mac? Just saying.
