It makes me lazy at times. But overall it hasn't changed me completely.

It has been the best and the worst thing in my life. I'm not embarrassed to admit that I've spent the majority of my childhood online (which could be good or bad). It has consumed most of my free time - time that I could have spent with friends/family. However, as I live in a very isolated area (my school friends are over 10 miles away), it has allowed me to keep in contact with them via Xbox Live and Facebook. I've also learned alot of information from articles, YouTube and other sources - which has improved my grades.

So yes, i'd be a completely different person without the internet. Whether i'd be better off or worse? That cannot be answered.

The internet actually helped me a lot. I found some friends online during a time where I was always skipping school and coming in drunk and things like that. They helped me get back on track and now I'm setting Oxford uni as my goal (in two years time). It's helped me learn new coding languages, build a sophisticated computer knowledge, meet new people, become more creative, etc. The internet may be the best thing to happen to me.

I do go out almost everyday with friends anyway

Well the internet has become one of my hobbies and I've met loads of awesome people because of it.
Believe it or not, I think the internet over the years has actually made me more mature.

That's common with console gaming though.
