update: if we can get between 1000-2000 supporters of this some big gaming news sites might cover the story.

It would also help if the article didn't have so many grammatical errors.

trust me i have been posting everywhere i can. what i need is for everyone to do what ive been doing. its a group effort, either we show Microsoft we care as qa community or we dont, id much rather that we come together and show microsoft what we, the customers, want from them.

The original Xbox Live was a costly service and only a select number of people actually played it. I don't see Microsoft changing their mind on this one.

This is the thing, if Microsoft did put the servers back up it would destroy sony's reputation for their customers, and microsoft could raise the the price of gold slightly to compenate for actauly doing it.
and as of now theirs about a good 10-20k people that use system link services to play gfames like halo 2... thats quite a fan base for over 3 years later. plus were not even counting the supporters who dont even use those system link services.

Ghetto_Tube wroteYeah uh, I played PS1 & PS2. Xbox 360 is my first Microsoft console. I'm not in anyway ok with them touching the price of gold "slightly." Quite frankly it's a joke that Microsoft is winning the console race when their competition has free online. Wii, PS3, PC. It'd ridiculous that we even pay $60 a year for gold.VisionaryMGMT wroteGhetto_Tube wroteThe only way microsoft listens is if we vote with our wallets. calm down that was just me speculating on the issue. yeah them winning the console raise is a joke because its for all the wrong reasons. but if microsoft put the original service back online, im saying that they would redeem them selves slightly from all this bacd publicity and it would show that they have some interest as to what the customer wants.
even if the service brough back online using recycled servers, it would be good, and not that this would ever happen but maybe microsoft would bring the service back as a "free to play" service seeing as theired be no new games out for it, and very little support.
but in the end right now im focused on the matter of getting the word out to people
