my specs -
o/s - windows 7 home premium
cpu - amd athlon ii 640 quad-core processor @ 3ghz
graphics card - msi radeon hd 6850 power/oc edition 1024mb
ram - 8gb patriot performance memory @ 1333mhz
psu - diablotek 675w (non-modular)
hdd - western digital caviar blue 500gb @ 7200rpm
mobo - asus m5a78l-m lx plus
cd/dvd drive - lg super multi drive
chassis - thermaltake v3 (black)
My computer can barely run it on medium while I see others with my same card running it on high settings with no lag. Any suggestions?

It's your cpu that is the problem, dayz is very cpu dependant.
