right now i have a 600 watt psu and i have:

as-rock 990 fx extreme 3

fx 8350 cpu

2x4 gb 1600 ram

1.5 tb hdd

ssd

and a gigabyte 760

and it all works fine now but would i need a bigger psu for another gigabyte 760

the answer to the question is no you wouldnt need a bigger psu as that should come up to 400-500 if your lucky...im looking to get a gtx 740 thats why i got my 750 tx corsair (750w) so i dont need to worry as it has 3 years warrenty

For your build with a single 760, if the 600w unit is any good, there's no need to upgrade. For two 760s, you'll want a quality 750w unit.
