MW2 CFG not working!! Help

Hi. I put the Default_buttons.cfg in the root of my usb that has a lot of other school files on it
I put it in the right slot of my slim ps3 (the latest ps3 500gb)
THen I joined the infection host's session and went straight into private match and turned online unlocks on. Then I joined the game and pressed select then up like the menu said and nothing happened but i had UNBOUND as my name and {GE} for a clan tag but no mod menu comes up.
THen I go into private match and the menu still doesn't come up.

he just probably just gave you UAV & AA. what is the guy's PSN name that gave it to you?

iKroniKz_671 or something, I got told it was a mod menu. If it's just uav/aa I feel like a **** idiot.

1.Make sure that you have the MW2 Disc version, NOT DOWNLOADED FROM THE PSN STORE.
2.Rename the file to "buttons_default" (Exactly how you see it there, no CAPS or spaces.
3.Make sure that is the ONLY thing on your USB, and NOT in a folder.
4. Make sure your USB is formatted to FAT32.
