Well, the magic you see is mainly all just slight of hand and smoke and mirrors. But Magick on the other hand, well that seems a lot more believable. The occult are not always evil.

I used to before I found out that humans don't only use 10% of their brain. I thought if we used it more or all of it maybe humans could perform supernatural things (Magic) But it has been proven we use our entire brain.

It is quite simple, once you know the secret.
He is walking across a plexiglass (perspex) platform that is set several inches below the water. Think of it as a plastic
box that is set on the bottom of the river, carefully sized so that its top remains slightly below the surface.

Of course the whole thing has to be set up in advance, and anchored to the bottom to make it stable.

It works because the refractive index of plexiglas is close to that of water, so that it becomes invisible once immersed.

I don't think they're real. However they are pretty good illusionists.
