Driving with the instructor is very laid back and you have nothing to worry about. Everyone is there to learn and they aren't expecting a ton. When I went driving with my instructor the person I was driving with went up the down ramp on the highway, so you will probably get a good laugh while you are watching your partner drive and maybe fear for your life a bit.

Here in Canada we're on our own, no other student in the car. I kinda wish I could get another person but also at the same time it just doubles the duration

dont even trip about it, its so easy. is all they do is make you parallel park a few times and generally drive through your city. dont worry about going on the freeway because they dont do that till the 3rd one

I was really nervous about my first one when I had to do it too, but they aren't bad at all. I had to do 3 different sessions with 3 different people and none of them were bad. They are very helpful, and teach you a lot. I actually kinda liked driving with them more than my parents, because the instructors were a lot more calm.

Don't stress it's not a license test. Take it easy and be calm. They are there to help you so if you need help ask for it.

I started taking driving lessons about 4 months ago, I'd never had any experience behind the wheel before my first lesson. My instructor was great and helped me calm down, cause I was really nervous too. Driving instructors are used to it, they would have had a lot of students who felt the same, they don't expect you to jump in the car and drive around like your the next Vettel! So just stay calm and you'll be cool. ;)
