I have a brand new Xenon Jtag. It is brand new and has no programs on it at all. My only interest with a Jtag is offline gaming. I know that you can download games off of the internet, put them on a flash drive, then play them on a Jtag.

I have already tried to do some research into it and have been completely confused. I am completely new to Jtag modding and desperately need help. I have come across tutorials but it's like they're in a foreign language to me. Yet again my only interest is to play free games offline. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I will +Rep anybody that can help because I feel like they deserve it.

To play the backups of the games that you own that you downloaded from the internet you need to do the following.

First you need to put XeXMenu on your jtag.
If the backup that you downloaded is a bunch of files with one of them being a default.xex file, just put all the files on a USB and launch it from XeXMenu.
If it is in iso format, use xbox backup creator to extract the files from it.
Put the files on a USB and launch the default.xex file from XeXMenu.

If you have any questions about this, just ask. Unless it is something like give me a download link. That's why they invented Google.

Also, don't download games that you do not own as this is stealing and can cost large developers hundreds of thousands of the millions that they earn from selling their games.

In all seriousness, piracy is bad and if nobody paid for games, you would not see many of the games that you enjoy today.

Not needed for jtags. And actually won't work unless the dvd drive is flashed which is completely separate from jtagging.

OT: Just extract the ISO using Xbox Image Browser. Then you just need to create a folder called "Games" on the root of your HDD and put the folder containing all the files you just extracted within "Games". Then just execute the default.xex.

That's literally all you need to do, just extract the files as is and put them on your flash drive. Just make sure your usb is FAT32, will not work on any other file system.

What I've been doing is getting game rips off of xbox360iso. com. Is there a better place to get them from though?

It's not a bad place, but I always use TPB for games. Easier and faster.
