I am wondering if this monitor will work at its highest with this build. I understand that the monitor works best with high end computers, and I don't want to pay almost $300 if I am not going to get max performance out of it. Thanks.

It depends on the games you plan on playing. If you can't get significantly greater than 60 FPS consistently at the settings you'll be playing at, having a monitor like that won't do anything different from a regular 60 Hz model.

Yeah, thats what I read on the reviews and what not.
I plan on playing alot of games pretty frequently: Minecraft, DayZ, BF3, Borderlands 2

If not can you suggest a good monitor, I know you suggested that viewsonic one in the build, but I hear from alot of people that I will experience quite a bit of ghosting with that one.

Link? I found no claims of ghosting issues with any of this series.

All monitors are subject to ghosting, not just IPS monitors. If you were ever to notice the difference in gaming performance between the IPS and TN monitors we're discussing, it would be in twitch shooters that aren't very graphically intensive at all. I'd take vastly improved viewing angles and color reproduction over a slight improvement in gaming performance every time, especially when both monitors are at 60 Hz. The only benefits I can see for going with a TN monitor at this point are greater support for 120+ Hz and extremely low budgets.

You need to decide what you want, though, it's your money!
