i get 30 fps on MED and 20 on ultra i have a gtx 660, i7-3770 16 gb of ram whats going on my drivers are updated and things like that, WHats wrong

Maybe it's your monitor. Try setting it to a higher refresh rate. Close some background processes that you dont really need to have open e.g. Google Chrome.

You shouldn't be having problems on a game like Planetside 2 with these specs.

try monitoring your gpu temp or cpu temp it could be an overheating problem

Have you optimized your settings in game and turned of things like 4xAA they cause frame drops. Basically tweak the settings ingame.
