well heres an easy solution they we doing , they are bringing the game out for current gen at that time and when the next gen launches its going to be a day one release game so if people are wanting it for next gen they only have to wait two weeks , and no microsoft stated that xbox 360 and xbox one players cannot play each other as it is completely different servers

Xbox 360 and Xbox One are not compatible, no questions about it. IW is not being a money whore by selling copies for both current and next gen consoles. It would cost them too much to give out a free copy for next gen with the purchase of a current gen copy. It just so happens that next gen releases around the same time as the annual CoD release. There's not going to be a way around this.. and to be honest you have to be a bit ignorant not to think this is how it would play out, it's really the only option they have, and it's completely logical.

Though, I'm surprised they don't abandon CoD on current gen for a year like they did with Call of Duty 4, because this situation happened the exact same in 2007, only if they followed their past, CoD: Ghosts wouldn't be on the 360 and PS3. Then next year's CoD will be on current gen, but it will suck really bad, and it completely won't make any improvements from Ghosts or even Black Ops 2.. current gen console games that you see now are completely maxed out graphics wise, it's not getting any better. So you will end up buying next gen even if your being a rebel right now. You won't be able to resist getting your hands on the shiny new console when your playing on your 360, which will seem like an original Xbox, or PS2 if you will; in no time.
