Read your privacy rights for Xbox One. You'll quickly realize that pre-ordering the PS4 was a very good choice.

From what we've hear so far, they actually seem to be the same. I'm going to wait a few months after they are both released and see some reviews before I decide which one I'm going to get.

The PS3 Hacking Occurred 2 years ago. Sony has very obviously improved there security and its wrong to assume that the PS4 will share the same fate. At this point it is safe to say the Xbox One is just as likely to be hacked.

Xbox 360 and the PS3 are old generation consoles. Don't bring arguments from an old generation into a new generation

Doesn't matter how many years ago it got hacked. It still was hacked. They just gave up trying to hack it anymore. Sony will always be the worst. Xbox has and will never be hacked.

Well it depends on if you are game-oriented or media-oriented. If you want something that's not necessarily for gaming, get the One. It doesn't have the best gpu, but it does all the other media crap. If you are gamer-oriented, get the PS4. I'd rather not type out all the reasons why when they are all above me in these comments

Right I'm going to say right now that I'm not a Sony fanboy, I had the last 2 Microsoft consoles and I felt I made the right decision with those.

In terms of a gaming experience go with the PS4, more powerful gaming machine, online services cost less, free games with PS+, etc.

In terms of an entertainment system, go with the Xbox One, it has Skype, TV input and Kinect.

Overall I would go with the PS4 as it is more powerful and has near enough all the features the Xbox has besides the Skype and the TV input. It also costs $100 less and Sony didn't try and f*ck you over with the DRM.
