If you had ever sat in a room and seen how much time and effort is put into creating a game. Youd be more appreciative.

It seems you overlooked something that has plagued all sorts of media for decades. Once something gets so big and has so much variety, creating outliers is extremely difficult. Take for example movies and/or music. They've been in production for decades and decades, so people have tried just about every genre over that time span. Once in a while though, a band will break the mold and be so unique that they catch on. Think of that as Game Of The Year - exceptional. Between triple A titles and indie developers, so many unique and different ideas have already been done and portrayed, leaving little room for true originality among developers. There will also always be the kids that say things like "oh yeah this game has an M16 in it, it's totally ripping off CoD"

Gaming communities are a separate matter that I'd really rather not get into because it usually ends up as flame wars between consoles or CoD. But yes, communities can potentially ruin a game franchise regardless if the game is fundamentally perfect.

The last thing I want to mention is time/budget constraints. Not every studio has a James Cameron tier budget, that they can just pour into making every single pebble unique with proper physics. Game developers must compromise some features to reach their deadline or maintain their budget properly. Being a partial indie dev myself, I can assure you that not everything can be tediously tweaked and checked, especially when it comes to keeping your programmer's sanity. Also, if you look at any game interview, the guys who made it often say they wanted to fix up or add in new features/modes. It's not that developers don't want to create the perfect experience, but rather they can't by factors generally outside of their control.

All in all, just sit back and enjoy the things the game has to offer, take the best qualities and overlook the few drawbacks or glitches

I Doubt you could make a better game, your a simple idiot 'HEY UR A NOOB WOW' that's what everyone is when they start playing. Developers know what they're doing you didn't know what you were doing when you wrote this.

Halo 4 Had amazing graphics but i'm sure you're one of those fanboys who only play COD and GOW.

Graphics cannot dictate a good game though. It can look as realistic as possible but if the gameplay is horrible, plot is lame, etc it still wouldn't be considered a great game to most. Biggest example would be Minecraft, where the graphics are pathetic yet is praised for gameplay. The same can be said for older games people still play like Counter Strike.
