I'm looking to get my first smartphone hopefully within the next couple weeks.
I am with Verzion and I am not sure if I should go with Nokia or Apple. My desktop is a Mac but I plan on getting a PC for college in a few months so I will be using that more than the Mac.
I have an iPod Touch so I am familiar with iOS, I have not used a Windows phone nor Windows 8.

Which phone would you recommend for me and why?

I usually never recommend Apple products, but out of these two phones, I would go with the iPhone.

I would recommend a IPhone. I have one and they are VERY user-friendly especially if you have experience. They have good cameras and I have never encountered a problem. If you decide to get one make sure you don't drop it cuz they do shatter easily :dontgetit:

The ease of getting used to the OS is definitely an upside to the iPhone. I'm just worried about dropping it, like you said. I wouldn't really have to worry about the Nokia if it dropped because of the Gorilla Glass..
