SonicX3 wrote Personally i like the Xbox more but what i have heard and saw about the new Xbox One may switch over to the PS4.
Some of my reasonings are:

-Always online internet connection, i have good internet but what if i wanted to take my xbox one somewhere there is none? Microsoft's solution buy a 360.Well that doesn't fix the problem.

-Not being able to play used games or share them freely/unlimitedly. I feel that if you purchase a game it should be yours to keep and you can do whatever with it. Sell/Give to friends etc....

-If banned from Xbox One, losing all your games and having to repurchase. Personally i have never been banned from the 360 or any other Microsoft product but i think this is a bit crazy.

-The Kinect sensor, i know you have the ability to shut it off i just dont like how it has to be connected to the xbox all the time.

There are various other reasonings as well but for now i may get a PS4, dont get my wrong i enjoy Xbox and who knows maybe down the road i will get an Xbox One but not at this point in time.

Another idiot spreading false information, and gets two thumbs up lmao.

1. You don't have to always be online, you just have to have a speck of internet ONCE every 24 hours.

2. You can sell/give a game to your friend. But that friend can't give the game away anymore. And I'll just copy and paste this.

One of the X1's main feature is the ability to install the disc directly to the hard drive and play it without a disk. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a feature many asked for when the feature was added to 360, but it was only to allow the game to run better.
Contrary to popular believe, the used game does exist in the X1.

"Trade-in and resell your disc-based games: Today, some gamers choose to sell their old disc-based games back for cash and credit. We designed Xbox One so game publishers can enable you to trade in your games at participating retailers. Microsoft does not charge a platform fee to retailers, publishers, or consumers for enabling transfer of these games."
What can we take away from this? Easy. If you bought a disc based game, you can sell and trade it to any participating retailer. It means that game publishers will work out deals with retailers in order for the developers and publishers to take a cut of used games sales. Microsoft will not receive any money from these transactions. If you bought a digital copy, just like any digital copy, you will not be able to do this.

Edit: Just noticed I copy and pasted the wrong info. That info in that spoiler is sort of relevant, but here is the game lending thing I mean't to copy and paste.

XBOX ONE- A GAME OF CIRCLES
Now onto the other things. As some of us know, you will be able to have a "circle" of friends, 10 people to be exact, that will be able to access your game library from anywhere (in the same region, I'm assuming..still not clear about this) at anytime (as long as you or someone else in your circle isn't playing it). This is of course how things work now, two of your friends can't play the game at the same time from one disc on two separate consoles.

This is a feature that is absolutely wonderful, but the people raging about it had not heard about it before.

"Give your family access to your entire games library anytime, anywhere: Xbox One will enable new forms of access for families. Up to ten members of your family can log in and play from your shared games library on any Xbox One. Just like today, a family member can play your copy of Forza Motorsport at a friends house. Only now, they will see not just Forza, but all of your shared games. You can always play your games, and any one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time."

I absolutely love this feature. For example, my cousin is 200 miles away when he's away to college and I've let him borrow LA Noire and Dead Rising. I've yet to receive those games from him. With this feature, we don't have to be close in order for him to borrow any of my games! It's crazy as to how so many people dismissed this feature because it's a big jump forward in digital technology. No longer will my friends or family have to be close to me in order for them borrow one of my games.

3. Wrong again, you're on a roll man! That tweet was referring to the Xbox 360 policy of losing your licences if you're banned.

4. Does it physically hurt you that it has to be connected at all times or something?
1. Yes its every 24 hours but people are still mad over this.
2. You can give it away but only digitally and only once. People like to share games with the actual physical disc.
3. Pretty sure the same will go for the Xbox One since every game you buy (digital or physical copy) gets tied to your account. <------ Confirmed by Microsoft.
4. This is personal issues. People don't like having a device that has the ability to watch you. Sure you can turn it off but why pay $100 more if your not going to use it?

This obviously is the PS4 forum. Please go back to the Xbox One forum if your going to call people idiots.

1. Too bad for them.

2. What the ****? Why the hell would I want to drive 5 miles to my friends house to give him a physical disk when he could just go on my profile and play it instantly?

3. Nope, they will probably just ban you from accessing any online feature. All you will be able to do is play your game. No netflix, youtube, messeging friends, etc.

4. Then I guess you don't like having a cellphone. As I said, the government doesn't have the time or resources to monitor every xbox one player 24/7. Nor are you important enough for anyone to want to watch.

I have a PS4 preordered, why can't I come to this forum?

4. I have a cellphone and I dont care it the government monitors me. Its for the safety of the country. I also dont care if the kinect monitors me too. Its just other people who dont like it.

4. I have a cellphone and I dont care it the government monitors me. Its for the safety of the country. I also dont care if the kinect monitors me too. Its just other people who dont like it.

Who knows if that picture is your or not. If it is good for you. And NO I'm not mad and I'm not a fanboy to any company. I own an Xbox 360 and I am one of the many who is making the switch to PS4. Looks like your name really does describe you. C YA I'm out!

I can't take you seriously after you posted that obviously satire article on the Xbox One forums.

I float between the Xbox One forums and these forums. You just happen to always be trolling the X1 forums.

Here's my opinion:

Reasons to get PS4:

- You can play games/demos while they are downloading.
- Pressing a button puts the console into "low power mode" and when pressed again pick up right where you left off.
- Share button lets you capture footage and upload it (dedicated capture/compression).
- Larger dualshock controller with improved triggers/analog sticks, and touchpad.
- Cross-play with Vita.
- Download games in the background.
- 50% faster GPU than Xbox, look it up before you disagree.
- Sony purchased company Gakai and is working to let you play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games through the cloud.
- Biggest of all no DRM/Used Game/Trading restrictions.

PS4 also has more than double the RAM of Xbox
And Sony is really catering towards developers autonomy, allowing them to self-publish, unlike Microsoft, which charges devs 10k just to put out an update, no matter the size.

I've also been an Xbox gamer since the original Xbox (Halo CE conquers all). I feel over the years Microsoft has been slowly losing its edge, and its rediculous policies in tangent with the smacking Microsoft took at E3 really, I feel, was the final nail in the coffin. I'm liking Sony more and more. Their games feel so fresh, like Journey and The Last of Us.

Sony I believe is for me, but to each his/her own.
