I've been working on this RC for 2-3 days now, and im about halfway done with it, im working on it in sony vegas. I recently got After Effects CS6, and i prefer that over Vegas. should i continue, and finsish up in Vegas, or start over in after effects?

Since you prefer SV over AAE, I see no point of starting over in AAE, sure, you may get better result in AAE, but if you are familiar to SV, then continue on that, and once your done with the RC, experiment with AAE.
