I know this website isn't really for this type of stuff, but its worth a shot

Right, I got on the moped (Piaggio NRG) and started it normally, tried to ride of but got about 5 foot and it cut out. It sounded very sluggish. I tried to start it again and it wouldn't budge, Doesn't even try to start. Not even starting then cutting out.

At first I thought it may be just the carb being clogged, so i dismantled the carb and cleaned it out. No luck.
Checked the spark and it has a great spark!
Checked the compression and it has great compression!
Checked if fuel was going through, it was!
Tried using both kickstart and electric, same outcome, nothing.

I am guessing it is an engine problem. Any ideas?

Thanks!

sounds like you have flooded the ignition but thats just from what i read, 5 foot then died. replace and clean the ignition yourself, let it drain or take to mechanic!

Hey man sounds like some water may have got in the combustion chamber, take it to a garage maybe 50/60 depending on the garage prices per hour
