Quick Facts About Ghosts:

Wants world to be a character.

No relation to Ghost in Modern Warfare 2.
You dont change characters on mission basis play as the same group throughout.

This new chapter in the Call of Duty franchise features a fresh dynamic where players are on the side of a crippled nation fighting not for freedom, or liberty, but simply to survive.

Ten years after a devastating mass event, the nation's borders and the balance of global power have been redrawn forever. A superpower no more, its economy and government in ashes, the country's once-mighty military struggles to stave off complete collapse.
As what's left of the nation's Special Operations forces, a mysterious group known only as "Ghosts" leads the fight back against a newly emerged, technologically-superior global power.

  • Game is focused on South America oil regions
  • You fight alongside your brother.
  • There is a mysterious biological threat with devastated environment
  • Underwater level (already revealed) is an environment of its own. You have gun fights, new soldiers coming at your location from different directions. Using a Russian weapon that is weak, but useful underwater. Enemies and the player take cover behind rocks and reefs, but also use the unique verticality to get an elevated shot or dodge fire.
  • Infinity Ward built a whole new underwater environment
  • You have to swim from cover to cover just like an above ground battle.
  • The dog its a remote recon scout and deadly weapon controlled by the player via a tablet-like viewfinder
  • No ties to Modern Warfare the Simon Riley mask is just a fan service.

Multiplayer reveal and info expected to come in August
Revamped Multiplayer completely
Dynamic Maps (earth quakes, flooding, player driven actions, doors, explosive traps)
Character Customization choose heads, bodies, helmet, and gear
They want to make each map as different as possible
Removing the classic symmetrical map layouts
One map has a point where a satellite crashes into the map whichever teams gets to it first gets a UAV.

Multiplayer Suggestions:

Now, since this is a new COD on a new console/engine, there is alot of innovation hat could happen. Here are my predictions:

-Dynamic Weathering: Similar to Madden, when playing on MP maps, there could be a chance that the map weathering could be different each time. For example, the first time you play a map, it is a bright and sunny scene. The next time you play that map, it is very dark and cloudy and rain could be possible while you are in-game.

-Built-In GameBattles: Since the eSports community has continued to grow in COD, IW could possibly have GB/MLG built into the game, making it way easier to find matches and easier to host tournaments.

-Gun Customization: Similar to Ghost Recon, unlocking attachments could be improved greatly if you are able to fully customize your gun, form the barrel, to the trigger, even to the way the gun is powered.

-Create-A-Camo: Similar to Rainbow Six, being able to edit and make your own camo can make your gun feel like it is your own.

-In-Game Squads: A feature that was built into World At War, having your own squad can be key to winning games.

-24-32 Players on Next-Gen Consoles & PC: A new console means that innovation can be pushed, meaning that bigger maps could be on the way which could support more players.

-Small Land Vehicles For Certain Game Modes: Domination, Hardpoint, and Demolition can benefit from having vehicles such as dirt bikes and ATV's to help get across maps quickly.

-Underwater MP: Having maps that take place underground.
