im looking for a fun open world game. that has multiplayer thats open world as well
i was thinking of getting SR3, but my friend said it's not as good on PC as consoles. Any suggestions? thanks

GTA 4 is a great open world game. You could also download hundreds of mods for it and make it more fun, but that would cancel out your multiplayer functionality. You could also download GTA SA and download SAMP. But don't get anything yet. Steam summer sale is eminent and you can get some great deals.
