Maybe that means it's a nand related error, I've done bad flashes before and it gave me e79. You did boot up the xbox without the hard drive though, correct?

turn it on and press the sync and eject button 4 times to get the error code, when u do that if 1 light comes on thats 1, if 2 come on its 2, if 3 come on it means 3 if 4 comes on it means 0... once u have the error code search up this on google the error code then after u type that in type in xbox 360 error codes and it will tell u what is wrong with it...
