Why pay a hell load of money for something that has terrible audio quality and brake VERY easily?

i have a pair and they are amazing. I have the studios. I have had them for about 7 months now and still going strong! it is the most amazing sound you will ever hear. Actually, my computer has beats built into it, so as you can see, they are pretty amazing.

They are terrible.

The only good ones are the ear buds they make.

Seven months of usage in a $150+ headphone is definitely not impressive by any means...one would hope they'd last that long. Heck, I have a few that have have been around since the 70s that still work like champs. The fact that their durability has to be questioned isn't the best of situations for Beats to be in.

HP laptops' "Beats" integration is essentially an equalizer (as in, anybody can make their headphones sound like "Beats") and in some models, a slightly better (but still not very good) headphone amplifier.

I had Beats for around two months, I sold them for $50. Now I own a nice set of Philips CitiScape downtown, they feel lovely around your head (memory foam) unlike Beats. Also the sound is amazing.

If you're really interested in them, don't pay full price. I've has the studios and got the warranty and I'm on the second pair after one year. The audio quality is good even though there are better headphones out there. They do not sound like crap at all.
tl;dr They sound good. Not worth full price
