ADMINISTRATORS! PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THIS POST AND PLACE IT IN ANOTHER FORUM CATEGORY. I POSTED THIS TOPIC IN THIS PARTICULAR FORUM BECAUSE THE NEXT GENERATION CONSOLES ARE THE ONLY TECHNOLOGICAL MEDIUM FOR WHICH THIS PROSPECTIVE SYSTEM CAN BE IMPLEMENTED! THANKS AGAIN, AND PLEASE PARTICIPATE IN MY POLL!

The competitive multiplayer arena is getting larger and larger as more people get their hands on a console, as well as an internet connection, around the world. What I would like to see is a competitive multiplayer betting system. This system will allow a player to bet a consensual amount of money (with other players in the match) from a debit/credit card on the current match that they are on. This can apply to any popular game that features competitive multiplayer as an overall game mode (e.g. Call Of Duty, Halo, FIFA, ect.).

A whole separate playlist should be dedicated to this in order to separate the gamers who are under 18 years old and the ones who are over that age. The server will function like this:

(1) An individual registers his or her debit/credit card on the online gaming account (e.g. Xbox Live, PSN, ect.)
(2) The individual will enter a specific playlist committed to the gambling community, that is respective to his or her game of choice
(3) The individual will either (A) Enter a specific sub-playlist dedicated to the amount of money he or she wants to bet, or (B) Enter the playlist and it will prompt the player to enter an amount that he or she wants to bet on the current match
(4) The must then be a general consensus on the amount to be bet that will automatically be deducted from the debit/credit card account. (If there are insufficient funds on the account, the player will be kicked from the lobby)
(5) If the player wins, he or she will receive all the funds that other players bet on the match. (The winning player will possibly pay a small fee for this transaction)

Is implementation of this system conducive to attract a whole population of hackers in the video games? (Beyond what we have today) Or are there many other faults that may arise here? Any thoughts on the subject?
