Just trying a purely smudged tag, please tell me how I can make it better. I know this isn't good but, please tell me the reason and how I can fix it in the future! I did this pretty fast, just trying new things in Photoshop and posting them to get some tips so I can become better and better everyday!
*Yes, I know the text is terrible, I have no idea on how to do text on tags, nor can I find a video on it. I just slapped it on so I can be rated on the smudging not the text! But, if you know of a video that could help me or any tips on texts for tags or good fonts please inform me! Thanks!*
Also used this render in this:
Which one do you thing looks better?

Not very good though man.
It's as if you just duplicated the render,
pulled out the smudge, and went rambo
with it.. Nothing blends..
Make an effort to make some sort
of "pattern" with the smudge. Waves,
twirls, whatever.
Also, tame the contrast mate.
That much is just crazy..
Also, it's rather flat man.
Nothing much to it.
Try working with some
of these things, let them help
you. Look up some tutorials.
Hope it helps..

Thank you for the honest option, I see what you mean and I know can see what you mean. After reading your comment I looked at it again, and really see what you mean, i'm making a new one right now and doing what you said. Do you know of any good fonts or a good video explaining font placement?
