omg, i played starwars battlefield 2 so much when i was younger. definitely going to pick this up when it comes out

Sounds awesome, BF2 was amazing when I used to play it.. I wonder how this one will come out.

Super happy to see this, as I was kinda expecting EA to be the one to pick up the license once I found out Battlefront 3 almost happened it was just out their for grabs. I've seen some people pissed of with the normal complaints to EA and while yes they're pretty shit, who cares DICE makes awesome games and frostbite 3 will be nuts. Think of this way if you like battlefront but hate EA, if EA didn't pick it up Battlefront 3 probably would never have happened.

Same, it could have been someone like Infinity Ward who would pick it up and it would feel too cookie-cutter. At least DICE and EA know how to make things more team based and fun, which Battlefront really did have aspects of. If you have played it recently on the PC, Battlefront 2 has some really nice class based play that I feel DICE can pull off. Would also love to see some destructible environments.

Tbh I can't see destructible environments in the Star Wars universe. It just doesn't seem right to me. But I guess it would be really cool.

I can't wait, it will be so good.
