I'd lower your budget a lot since expensive+running doesn't tend to work out very well. I love using the Koss Portapro for your genres because they're open, which allows me to hear things going around me. Sensory deprivation doesn't really work well with me when I'm running.

I'm in public transport and airplanes a lot, so I would like something that keeps out the sound of crying babies and it has to be portable.

I sadly just returned the advised Philips Cityscape Uptowns because the volume controller was broken. I don't want to buy them again, since the cable is just too fragile and I dont want to end up with broken ones again. Any other suggestions?

I'll specify the music taste a bit. Mostly pop, some house and trance.

Budget: 200+

Music preferences: Hiphop (Crunk + heavy bass stuff) , Electro house, Dubstep.

Type/form-factor: In ear.

Open or closed: Closed.

Listening from: HtC One + Galaxy s4.

Details: I love as much bass as possible but dont like when bass makes vocals sound unclear.
As much noise isolating as possible.

I have previously used Beats by dre iBeats and Tour in ears. Tour were so expensive but absolute waste of money and pathetic sound, iBeats is not bad but i want MORE DEEP BASS.

I did my own research and ordered these:
Denon AH-C300 Urban Ravers (Let me know if you think i made a good {perfect?} choice for my taste?

Thanks in advance and this thread is like a dream come true, i registered straight after i saw this thread.

These are all good neutral cans that are portable and durable.

Be careful what you wish for. That's a lot of bass!

Welcome to the site! I see you're in Australia and I'm not sure where I'd find a link to anything I would recommend. Fortunately, Parall3l is also from Australia, so maybe he'll be able to help you better than I can. Ishcabible also knows much more about IEMs than I do, so I'd wait for his input.

But for a bassy IEM around $200, the JVC HA-FXT90, Klipsch X10, Monster Turbine Pro Gold, and Future Sonics Atrios come to mind.

Over-ear: Creative Aurvana Live (Not really portable, but get IEMs if you want portability)

In-ear: Nuforce NE700X, Beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE, Fischer Eterna if you can find one. Ishcabible may have a better suggestion.

They're much cheaper, but I recommend the Logitech UE6000. They have active noise-cancelling, a folding design, good looks, a removable cable, and good sound for the price.

You should also look at the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro and Ultrasone Pro 900 (which is hard to recommend because the velour pads don't create a seal).
