I don't know about your store, but my Gamestop gives cash. You get more for in-store credit though.

They buy cheep and sell high = profit.

They are a conplete rip off i dont live in America/Canada or anywere where there is a gamestop in my part of the uk we just have GAME and HMV and CEX or GAMESTATION but they all rip u off

There's a guy at my local flea market who buys/sells video games for good prices, so I just bring everything to him.

They give in-store credit so your forced to come back and buy from them; it's a never ending cycle.

Dude....my store is lame or just not following their own rules. They told me the last time i was there that they didn't give cash

yea I never went back! I bought a xbox360 and it was console banned and I brought it back. and gamestop gave me a argument and gave me less money for it. it was 1 day and it was on 30 day warranty but they gave 80$ out of 150$ I was pissed now I bye off on ebay for my games

They trade then in and then sell them for like 10 more than usual its crap!

I NEVER give my games to Gamestop (EBGames)- in Canada THEY RIP YOU OFF so badly i see there is no point in giving away a game that you bought because who knows? you might play the game again in the future
