I've been noticing around the forums that more and more people are posting with centered/italic or bold (sometimes a combination) text as well as often being slightly smaller than the default size. I'm not sure if people do it to make themselves stand out or look original or something but it really gets on my nerves. People signing their own posts gets on my nerves as well cause it simply isn't necessary when your name is clearly above the post.

Does anyone else feel this way or is it only me? I know I'm certain to get some people complaining since so many people do it but leave your opinions below.

Those effects are there for a reason, some times to get attention. I understand if people post in all bold though

I didn't make it clear but I mean when people use them in every post they make not when they use them in one post.

Italics came from Italy. They are used in writing to specify if a person is thinking in the story. They are also used to make certain important things stand out. The TTG users you say that use Italics, are using them the wrong way.
I also think post signings are not needed, but if people want to do that, to each his own.

Yeah like you aren't any more important then anyone else. Putting everything in large font and bolding it..

unless you are staff.

I like how it looks when they use different fonts, but when they center it that's going a bit overboard.

I honestly dont know why people feel the urge to sign their names when it shows their name on the post anyways..
