So i have a Dell XPS 420 desktop and i had an ok graphics card installed that played most games from a few years ago but i recently purchased Guild Wars 2 because i was a fan of the first one and well my card was no longer powerful enough, so i purchased the Radeon HD R7770 and installed it and boom i can play anything without lag but now lies my problem. The text on forums ect or anything non game related looks a bit choppy and not as crisp as it was with my stock card. Is there a setting that im missing? i tried everything in the Catalyst control center but nothing fixes my overall looks on computer. Sure it runs just about anything now but its really annoying me and i dont want to return it if i dont have to. Also im running my computer through a 60" Samsung TV if that helps.

id really appreciate any input, if i cant fix this im going to return it to get the Nvidia GTX 650.

Does the image fill the whole screen and does the mouse go all the way to the edge of the available pixels? Your under/over-scan settings might be off which would make font rendering look awful. You should also try changing the pixel format, which I have seen fix problems like this before.

Since Windows has bad font rendering anyway, You may want to change it with Mactype. It won't solve your problem, but it's something every Windows user should look at.

Ok so i installed Mactype and it clears it up only alittle but some words are still not that crisp, Also yes i adjusted the over/underscan settings so they fit to my TV but that was it i still have that choppy look. If you need to see anything specific i can screenshot stuff for you. just let me know what you need to see.
