Hello, about 6 months ago I purchased a pc from a local frys electronics store. They said
it was made for gaming and I was like "OK", After benchmarking and learning more about pc's I realized the PC is just a complete peice of trash, I had the NVIDIA GT 620 which was a completely horrible card, so I upgraded it, and also the power supply. Anyways, i'm having
trouble running GTA on lowest settings, I tried fixing the resolution and I also bought a brand new ASUS monitor. I Can't determine if the problem is my CPU Or GPU that needs an upgrade here are my specs:

Zotac GTX 650
650 Watt Power supply (antec)
AMD FX 6120 six core processor 3.50GHz
10GB RAM
2TB hardrive
Windows 7 Home Premium

You shouldn't be having problems at those specs, might need to update you drivers or something. I can run it on my laptop which has nowhere near the performance. Check AMD and Nvidia's website for the latest drivers. Had a similar problem with tomb raider and that fixed it.

I have lower specs than you and im playing GTA 4 on highest settings. The game isnt optimized good at all. If you havent updated your drivers that it probably your problem.
