Hey guys, i am going to flash my BenQ drive at some point, i understand that all i need to do is connect it to my laptop with a SATA to USB cable and then go through the software Jungle------- (can't remember the other word :s

Anyway, i don't know where to get one or which cable to use. Are there any really cheap ones i can get hold of omission ebay or anything? Please link me to a suitable cable please

Umm, SATA to USB? Just use a SATA cable and connect it directly to your PC and drive.

This is a SATA cable: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

You should have one already connecting your PC disk drive to the motherboard, just remove it from the PC disk drive and attach it to your Xbox disc drive.

You need to have a compatible computer to flash your drive, otherwise jungle flasher will not detect your drive. What most people do is buy a PCI card to install into your PCI slot on your computer to be able to read the drive in order to flash it.

For laptops you can buy something called an x360USB. <--Pretty sure thats what its called lol. Then you can connect it to a laptop and makes things alot easier. You plug it into the computers usb slot then the other end into the back of your drive.

Hope this helped PM me if you have any other questions. And I Love +REP
